Minis Classes

Dress Code:  Pink Ballet shoes, Black Tap Shoes, Leotard and Tights that are any color.  Hair should be pulled away from the face.   This class combines creative movement,  basic tap and ballet terminology and technique.   Putting your  3-5 year old in a dance class will allow them to establish better social skills, physical development, and cognitive thinking early on.

Ballet

Ballet is the foundation for all forms of dance and is known for its breathtaking techniques, signature pointe work, high leg extension and is usually performed to classical music. There are 5 basic positions of the feet and arms which form the basis of ballet movement. Training is focused on repetition of simple movement at the barre as well as basic jumps. Body alignment, position of the head, proper turnout and pushing throughout the floor are all used to develop and enhance proper ballet technique. Ballet also improves balance and is a very disciplined art form.

Jazz

Jazz dancing is a form of dance that showcases a dancer's individual style and originality. Every jazz dancer interprets and executes moves and steps in their own way. This type of dancing is energetic and fun, consisting of unique moves, fancy footwork, isolations,  big leaps and quick turns. To excel in jazz, dancers need a strong background in ballet, as it encourages grace and balance.   Every class includes warm ups, technique, across the floor work and a dance combination.
